I am still working on my route but had a question about signals and crossings. Some of the crossings that I am installing on my route are nothing more that 2 tracks properly lined up, crossing each other. Is the simulator smart enough to detect 2 intersecting routes and set the signals properly? Or do I need to use the 45 or 90 degree crossing tracks? Thanks,

RE: Signals and Crossings

You need to use the 45 or 90-degree crossing tracks (or any other degree available in xtracks, etc.). If you want to make sure the sim knows the tracks are crossing at grade (as opposed to crossing over-under), go into the activity editor, and you should see a black dot where the tracks cross. If you just lay two pieces of track over each other there will be no black dot, and the sim assumes that the tracks are flyovers.Mark
