Me, or the RE? I'm trying to add some siding names to the KP Sub so that it is actually usuable, so I followed the directions in the RE help, but the objects don't appear in my drop down menu. What gives?? (I was also looking for Dynamic track so I could complete the switch over to ScaleRail, but I couldn't find it either. Grr. . .) EDIT: Stupid pic didn't attach. Grr dial-up. . .

RE: Alright, who's screwed up here?

My guess is that the .ref file has been customized and Dynamic Track is in the "Track Sections" category. The builder of that route may have placed various objects in different categories, so look around for the "Siding" object in the other sections. Good luck...:Matt:UP La Grande Sub (Phase I)

RE: Alright, who's screwed up here?

Before you spend too much time replacing ScaleRail on the KP Sub, you might want to wait until I come up with a solution to the dynamic track not accepting alpha for the rail textures.Cheers!

Matt--I tried that idea already, but couldn't find either dynamic track or sidings in other categories, either.Marc--Roger. I was just screwing around trying to find dyno track for future reference, but my main goal was to add sidings. EDIT: I just saw your other post about the ScaleRail dynamic track replacement util. I was going to try to do it manually, but I'll definitely hold off until this utility gets up and running!

RE: Alright, who's screwed up here?

I think I have the utility to a point as good as it'll get. I've now added a texture for the dynamic track's rails and a few tweaks to the ScaleRail ballast models.Cheers!
