I have been replacing signals on the Glorieta Pass route with some better searchlight and semaphore signals but I have run into a problem, all of the searchlight signals protecting passing sidings, the bottom indication stays black like in the pic below. Any way I can fix this?

>Is it linked to the passing siding? After doing a check of the entire route all of the signals are linked but the lower indication remains dark. Could it be something in the sigcfg or sigcr files?

RE: Dark Signals

Signalmaster would be the ideal one for this problem; however, it is a problem in either the sig.cfg or sig.scr files. Maybe Hank will see this and enlighten you. My guess: the sig.cfg file as it does not see the lower signal for that particular shape. Just a hunch.

You were exactly right. The sigcfg files had a typo in it. Now all signals work properly. Hope to get some screenshots up later.

RE: Dark Signals

Chris why don't you post the problem that you found. That way if others want to try these signals they'll know what needs to be fixed before using them. Claude Debnam NS Piedmont Division Raleigh EastPrevious Topic | Next Topic – image 6

The problem was in the sigcfg file. Under the heading "ATSF2Light" which stands for the 2 Head Absolute searchlight signal, it read that there was only 1 head on the signal when there is supposed to be two. If I can get permission from Bob Wirth, I will upload the new shapes and sigcfg and sigcr files.
