With marching season starting to wind down (only one more parade to do!) I've found some time to get back to updating and enhancing the GM&O Northern Lines route.Several things I've tackled lately....* Getting rid of the bad telephone poles and replacing them with properly aligned poles* Adding additional scenery (foliage, vegetation, track buildings, etc.) based upon trackside photos taken weekend of Oct. 1-3 in Illinois and have started working my way east from Independence with additional scenery.* Major trackage changes in St. Louis on Merchants Terminal line (west side of Mississippi riverfront)...See previous posts in this forum for views of the new trackage.* Clean-up of problems reported by users to date. When this update release comes out it will include updateds paths, etc. for the previously released activities. The St. Louis tour activity will be updated, re-routed, and include more informational pop-ups."Coming soon" does NOT mean within the next few days, however. It won't roll until it's ready to play and I've still got a few significant features to add in the St. Louis area yet. As more time becomes available, especially after 10/23, the update work will progress quicker. Expect the update (version 1.8) before Thanksgiving...P.S. I am in serious need of a skilled buildings artisan for a series of route-specific special projects. Please contact me if you are interested!JBD
