Aug-20-01, 07:22 PM (EST) "Looking for Info; Western Maryland / Chessie" I am looking for info on the Western Maryland Connellsville Subdivision and any info on the CSX/ex B&O from Cumberland Md to Connellsville Pa. Track diagrams, pictures of structures, engines and rolling stock etc. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Aug-20-01, 10:16 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Looking for Info; Western Maryland / Chessie" You might want to go to the B&O Historical Society. One of the neatest things there are Roadway Maps of a major part of the B&O. I have Volumes IV (Weverton, MD to Cumberland) and V (Cumberland to Connellsville). They cost $16.00 per volume, but I don't think You'll be dissapointed. It shows all lines, sidings, yards, towers, signals, roads, rivers (and creeks) and mileposts. While not to scale, it has enough detail to make your mouth water and give references for modeling. The base link is http://4.21.72.157/. The shopping link is http://borhs.org/Shopping/index.html.Enjoy. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-20-01, 10:30 PM (EST) 4. "RE: Looking for Info; Western Maryland / Chessie" Thanks, now I guess Im out of $16. A friend who is a CSX engineer gave me some copies of the entire keystone division. Some sort of training aid I think sort of hand drawn although they show all signals, present crossovers, mileposts, active sidings etc. If anyone wants them I might be able to scan them and email them Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
