Aug-19-01, 01:28 PM (EST) "Deleting Old Quad Trees" Many of you who have tried and discarded several routes can help those of us just getting started. If I have created a Quad Tree and started laying track on it and designing terrain and then decide the whole thing is a bust how can I delete it and be certain that ALL REFERENCES TO IT are gone. Does just hitting delete also eliminate references to it in the directory name file so that I may use the same name again when starting over from scratch. Your help would be appreciated. thanks

Aug-19-01, 03:22 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Deleting Old Quad Trees" Simply delete the route's folder: that's all. MSTS won't know it was there, as far as I can tell. I have done it many times without a problem.Michael Vone Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-24-01, 08:20 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Deleting Old Quad Trees" Thanks for the help. I thought just hitting delete would do it but with Microsoft you can't be certain. 15 miles completed 81 to go! I may live to complete it! May TRAINZ from Auran will be out by then and this process will be simplified.
