Hi Teemuif the road has no carspawner traffic: Use a section of "dummy road" i.e. a road piece that is used as static scenery item, which you can tilt to the terrain with the "n" key.If the road has carspawner traffic: - Use the US2Crossingx1.s / US2Crossingx2.s / US2Crossingx3.s / US2Crossingx4.s as static scenery item, tilted to the terrain and aligned to the track (these are these "toy-like" ramps of the default grade crossings) - still better than the terrain covering two of four lanes - Or make the track level for the length of the grade crossing...Hope it helps,Lukas a.k.a Swissie
Another solution might be to have the road stop short of the crossing and a little high. Use short road section(s) sloped down to cross the track and then resume normal road building. StevenStandardized \global\tsection.dat file now at build #26. Tsection Inquiries: tsection@train-sim.com

I think it looks fairly good to make the level crossings themselves invisible. Then place concrete slabs (from Japan clutter) to make the crossings. Just let the rails stick up a little through the concrete. The slabs work ok. I created a long, 8 meter wide slab and used the default concrete ace texture to make custom crossing areas.Larry
I got the idea from Larry, but I did my own crossing pieces which use the same texture as the road. The piece is not perfectly placed in pic #1 but it shows how I made it.
