What is it with this thing for signals? I don't know, but every generation gets just a little better. 3DCP, too, gets better with every new version, making detail which was a pain to make, easy. Now railings and piping just a matter of point, click, done. This image of a 3 head searchlight signal should tease the detail hounds. Getting on the heavy poly side, hardy systems should have no problem with these in high detail routes.Maybe someone with better visibility signal lamp system might share it with me in a release of these signal graphics.Regards,
Hank

NICE! Those are really awesome, can't wait to see them in action! Any chance of you getting you to design the SafeTrans signal sets that UP has been intstalling everywhere like I have attached two collages of? I will probably be able to get you more pics if needed...Austin

Awesome work Hank...you seriously need to do a tutorial on making signals and crossing signals.......I can do the 3d work myself but dont have a clue about how to make them work in a route. (and I suspect others have the same problem)Longhairedwizard

RE: Is it Live, or is it.......

Those are totally sweet! That'd be really cool if you could incorporate the better visiblity so you can see the lamps from a mile away like in real life (and like in the Pacific Surfliner and Powder River (Digital Rails) route). My guess is that they do it with different LODs. Are you incorporating more than one LOD anyway? If so, it might not be hard to add the "high-visibility" to these great-looking models.Cheers,
Mark

RE: Is it Live, or is it.......

Yeah, I figured. I wrote the above post before MLT "let the cat out of the bag" so to speak, with their signal light texture. I imagine you guys at digital rails are doing something similar?Mark
