Most route developers have fast computers with lots of RAM, and unless you have access to another system that's a real chugger, it's hard to predict how your beautiful creation is gonna look on a slow computer.http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/User_files/40f054ea0a309751.zipI got that little gem from one of the abandonware websites, the purpose is to slow modern computers down so you can play old games that were designed for 4mhz 8086 computers back in the Days of DOS and Dinosaurs.Route testing tool – image 1Once installed, run the turbo.exe, click on "turbo", and type a percentage into the second window. I have a P-4 2.66ghz, so the 50% value makes it run like a 1.3ghz system. Once you're done testing just click "quit" and it unloads itself, computer is back to warp factor five. Simple and easy to use, doesn't require haunting garage sales for half a dozen old computers to test what kind of framerates other people will get on your route. See how the "lower class" lives without underclocking your CPU!
