RE: DEM Problem

Looking at the image you posted, it appears that when you re-DEM'd the area that you must have accidently selected that tile to DEM but did not have the DEM data for the tile because you had already done it. DEM-EX probably saw that there was no data for the tile and set all elevations on the tile to the default tile height. My reason for thinking this may be what happened is because the entire tile appears flat below the rest of the terrain as though it had been flattened at the base height for the tile. I hope that this is some help and that you can get your DEM'd tile back. You may have to redo the DEM for that tile as well though. Good luck with solving this problem, George.

RE: DEM Problem

George,Be careful how you set your preferences when running DEMEX. Check the instructions. One setting protects data that is already present in all tiles, and only updates new tiles, which may have been what you intended.
I try to avoid this problem, and with seamless data it has not been a problem, but I ran into this on the KP sub. some when I was (then) using DEM modules. Any future work, or future rehash of scenery will involve seamless data.J. H. Sullivan
