If I want to replace an A1tPnt10dLft (or Rgt) switch with straight track I simply drop a 40 meter piece in for the straight section of the point. How about if I want to replace the curved part of the switch? I know the length is about 30 meter per M. Vonne's book, but how about the radius? I realize I need to use Dynamic track to do it.DKT

RE: Point measurements

You don't need to use dynamic track. The A1tEndPnt10dLft is the same as the diverging route on the A1tPnt10dLft. If you are curious about the actual lengths, there is a short straight section of 1.51059 meters, followed by a curve with radius of 164.0639 meters, turning 10 degrees. All this information can be gleened from the tsection.dat file.Mark

RE: Point measurements

Thank you for your reply. I did find the A1EndPnt10d section replacement also after I posted my question. I also used Dynamic track, but my dimensions are "no straight track, radius of 164.76 meters and angle -0.183 radians". I'll have to look into your numbers next.
Amazing what you can do in this game, hope it stays alive for a long time to come.DKT
