Tried to install this route today (yes, I know it hasn't been updated for a couple of years but was curious)....Sim refuses to load with the route installed.Anyone have a suggestion on what might have caused this? I ran the install.bat file... JBD

RE: Illinois Central 1.0?

My guess would be that it needs to be updated to to all the other changes that's come about since it was posted.I could be terribly wrong.I haven't run this this route since the last blue moon which was last Juvember.

RE: Illinois Central 1.0?

Well, it comes up fine in Route Editor but as soon as I try to run it in the Sim the sim refuses to load....One thing I DID note was that all of the files were marked "read only". Changed that attribute but that didn't affect the phone-home error.I suspect that there's something incompatible in the route's tsection.dat file....Thanks, anyway, Claude.... Anyone else able to chime in on this? From what I can see in RE it looks fairly interesting....Definitely a candidate for an upgrade...JBD

RE: Illinois Central 1.0?

Is there a IllinoisCentral.ace file in the routes folder. If not make a copy of the load.ace and name it IllinoisCentral.ace.Regards,Eric
