I'm having a problem with a ground texture I made fading away at the edge. I made a total of 4 textures to "pave" and area. The first texture I made fades away a the edge where it meets the next texture. The others do not fade at there joints. Is there a way to correct this? Thanks, Chris
Chris - this is a problem with the basic texture - take a very close look at the .ace or .bmp file and you'll see the same "fade" at the edge. The way to fix it is to edit the .bmp file so that you've got the paved texture where it now fades away. You may want to export the .bmp from the .ace so that you're working on the same image that you see in the editor. There has not been any other problem identified that would lead to what you've shown - it's not a problem with alignment in the editor or game.Andy

I didn't have time to redo the texture from scratch, so I'll try that next. Thanks for the suggestion. Chris
Chris, I've not played with ground textures very much, so this might not be the problem but I throw the question out. Does the ground texture you are having a problem with, have the same size alpha channel around it as the others you are not having a problem with?Take care, Rich S.
Are you absolutely sure you're looking at the same texture you use in the RE? Check with tgatool2. If worst comes to worst, use a transfer. It looks like you used Mosaic, and I'm not sure how well that works, since I never used it. By the way, the route is becoming VERY realistic. Only one thing I see wrong: The water tower changed color in the last few weeks!
