I've downloaded just about every scenery item in the file library for the route I'm working on, but there are several things I'd like to have and was wondering if someone was working on these things or would like to work on them:1. Flat railroad company placards to mount on the sides of bridges.2. Motorcycles with and without riders.3. A football field with stands as good as the little league ball diamond from the ConrailIndy route.4. Bass boats.5. Park statues and fountains.6. Wal-Mart and K-Mart stores.7. Nationwide fast food chain restaurants like McDonalds and Burger King.There are so many excellent creations people have uploaded to the file library, but as I piece together my route, I notice that there are some things in existence in the everyday world that haven't made their way to the file library. If I had the money for an MSTS compatible 3D shape creator, I'd try my hand at making some of these things.
Better look again. There is an old style McDonalds, an old style Taco Bell, and several other popular restaurants. You will also find a Wal-Mart which, with a slight edit of the .ace file could become a K-Mart store. There are also some sports fields of different types.Flat placards are probably the easiest thing to make in TSM or Gmax.Do a search by category in file library. I am in the same situation, looking for other objects.Once you have searched and downloaded through all the libraries, there are two other things to do (perhaps more):1) Visit other websites for objects to download. For instance, UKTrainSim, Steam4me, and some Latin sites that have good scenery objects. 2) With Route Riter, a powerful tool for lost of tasks, you can easily copy objects from any route and import them into your new route, with just a few clicks.About McDonald's and other Burger shops, there are some in the SeaView4 fantasy route, together with lots of fun objects, even diversion parks, planes, rockets, sharks, vessels, UFO's, dolphins, and a great deal more...Motorcycles are found in Japan1 and Japan2 default routes..These are some ideas about increasing our collections.I am now looking for riders on horses, maybe cowboys or something else, and also looking for some very large roofs, covering 6 platforms or more, to put in my route; meanwhile, we still have many more things to lay on the ground. Sooner or later we'll have all we want in the R.E.Good luck
