Aug-15-01, 06:47 PM (EST) "Can I explore the route?" I have been working on a route from my home town of Darlington. What I want to know is this. Is it possible to explore the route as it is been made, and allowing me to see what objects that I have placed on the route look like. I read in the help files that the program made a `Explore the route` activity automatically when the route was first started. This has not been my experience so far. Can anyone help? Aug-16-01, 03:19 PM (EST) 4. "RE: Can I explore the route?" Yes, Darlington in UK. I am not using DEM data, all that I believe is available only shows altitudes above 300feet. There is nothing in my route that goes that high. Regards the marker program, I have never heard of it before. What is it?Regards Dave Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Aug-16-01, 04:35 PM (EST) 5. "RE: Can I explore the route?" the marker file is used in coordination with lat + long. you enter a number of command, and when you go to route editor it can show the points where the track should run through. (i dont mean to sound like i know what im on about, i havent got the foggiest!) theres a new post going on explaining where im up to -keep an eye on that and hopefully ill get few good tips. i also made a walkthrough for this guy. its basically a mix of other walkthroughs. Normally when you go to the route editor you end up with flat terrain, this walkthrough will help you import hills and valleys. i will say, however, that it is thought that the terrain is not very accurate. (eg the lake district is rolling hills and shallow valleys!) email me if you want it. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
