Here are some screenshots of my very first route, and it's looking good if I say so myself. Plus the help from Austin Yoder helps alot as well. This route runs from Bluefield, West Virginia to St. Paul, Kentucky. As of right now I'm just going to consintrate on getting to Cedar Bluff, Virginia.Trake on the main line is at about 35% finished if I deside to connnect up with the CSX Railway, and 64% if I deside to just take to track to Cedar Bluff.

Nice, I can clearly make out West Bluefield, your track work looks good. Let me know and I'll try to get some more materials for you; coal branches, timetable, and those sort of things. Your making great progress, make sure you make backups, and watch out with tiles.Norfolk Southern: Clinch Valley Route – image 7 NS4Life Norfolk Southern: Clinch Valley Route – image 8

Looking real good. I believe though, that is St.Paul, VA, not Kentucky. If you get around to doing the line from St.Paul to Norton, let me know, and I'll give you some hints about doing curved trestles on a grade. (jhsulliv@comcast.net)Also, for a reasonable facsimile of the trackage at St.Paul, you can download my KP subdivision from the library and extract anything that will be of use to you, which includes a detailed marker file covering from the Clinch R. crossing east of St.Paul to a mile or so beyond Cragin Tunnel on the west side.J. I have desided to just take my route to Cedar Bluff and not meet up in St. Paul. The route ride will take more than 3 hours to complete if all speed limits are taken serious. Low speed is 25MPH and the highest speed limit on the route is 35MPH. Hope that this isn't a disappointment to anyone. Long live NS!
