In preparation for the next installment of ATSF Marceline I've begun working on the KCT North End Freight Line and connections to BN and NW via the Hannibal Bridge. At present the NEFL is laid to the north end of "The Gooseneck".... BN tracks are in place across the Missouri River but here's the catch:The Hannibal bridge is a double-track swingspan.... Ron Picardi has done a single-track swingspan already. Does anyone know if anyone has done a double-track swingspan? Thanks!

RE: Work continues on the KC Terminal...

Work on the North End Freight Line is completed and freight trains can now run the alternate route between Rock Creek Jct. and Santa Fe Jct.This was NORMALLY traversed by GM&O trains to get to Lydia Ave. Yard and on to 12th St. Yard. CB&Q freights from St. Louis (via GM&O trackage rights) also ran as far as Lydia Ave. where they crossed over to North Kansas City Bridge RR trackage (subsidiary of CB&Q) to get across the river to Murray Yard. LOTS of transfer and traffic used this route out of the west bottoms to get to the KCS Knoche Yard. UP/MP traffic had its own tracks (not yet laid).....Screenshots of "The Gooseneck" follow later!JBD

>(WP713) S.L.W. Dude, just drop it already. This past week, my opinion of the SLW crew has really gone down the tube with you guys showing what, if any, maturity you have. Now I'm not trying to standup for Jim but I just want to see this whole damn thing just go away, ok?!?Austin

RE: Work continues on the KC Terminal...

I don't know, what's wrong with the people here at train-sim.com as of lately? My opinion: 1. There has been a major misunderstanding.
2. Some people overreacted.
3. Some people tried to calm things down.
4. Life goes on!
5. JDTrainman does a hell of a job.
6. The SLW crew does a hell of a job too!
7. Now get your arse into gear and try to live with each other!
8. Some of you really behave like the kids you are...Cheers!SebastianFeel free to IM me on: sstyrnol@hotmail.com

Stop it. No flame wars, please. Everyone has a right to his/her opinion. We don't all have to agree. Please don't post in this thread unless it's "on topic" (hint: the topic is double-track swingspan bridges)Thanks!
