After you rotate a road and connect another road to it, what should you do if you see that you didn't rotate the first piece quite right? If you delete the second piece, you cannot rotate the first piece. Any way around this, like by dragging road pieces? Or, do you only get one chance to rotate the first piece? The question applies with tracks, too. It is really hard to get it right over long distances the first try, and I can't figure out the object rotator.Thanks! METRAUP

"Or, do you only get one chance to rotate the first piece?"The answer to that question is basically, yes. Once you have connected another road or track section to the first, you can no longer rotate. There is no way to select multiple track or road sections and rotate the whole selection.Depending on how far you have gotten befor discovering the error, you can make corrections with 1-degree curved sections. Otherwise, you need to remove all except the starting piece and then adjust the starting piece.I have never used the object rotator but I understand that it makes things a whole lot easier. You can rotate sections afterwards by using the numberpad keys but you will have to reconnect sections along the path to snap them in correct positions and then rotate the next section working your way along the whole distance. Takes time and you might need to remove a section here or there to be able to rotate the section as you like.
That doesn't seem to work. After I lay two road pieces, and then delete one, I can't rotate the other one in any direction. What am I doing wrong?I used to remember how.Thanks! METRAUP
Ok, I here is step by step what I do:1. Lay the road.2. Without deselecting, I rotate it in what I think is the right direction and adjust it to track level.3. I hit F5 lay more road pieces.4. When I see that I am off, I delete all the pieces except the first one.5. I select the first one and hit F4. I cannot rotate either up-or-down or side-to-side, either with the mouse or the keypad (if I then hit F3 and adjust, I can then rotate up-and-down when I hit F4 again).What am I doing wrong?Thanks!
