I've tried everything I know to solve the problem of the SEND/DON'T SEND message when entering a certain section of the route.
This route has certainly been a thorn in my side and I am just about to shitcan it. It's just no fun anymore. Now if someone out there is smart enough to come up with a solution, I'll certainly be happy to entertain any and all suggestions.
Otherwise, I'm going to keep what's left of my sanity and whatever is left of my hair.Sorry.Joe simerjoe@cox.net

RE: MBTA is causing a lot of trouble again

This is just a shot in the dark. In building the RF&P (I've pretty much finished 39 miles out of 54, and I started in May 2002), I had a problem like that. It turned out that one track under construction ended at a switch, and something in MSTS didn't like that. Driving a train onto that tile would make the program crash. When I added a piece of track after the switch, it cured the problem.Steve Dunham

RE: MBTA is causing a lot of trouble again

Is it possible that you have a 250m or 500m section of tangent track joining the switch? How about the position of the switch itself? Is it straddling a blue line/tile divider? The extra-long tangents WILL cause problems if they cross a tile divider line....I have learned to not put 250's and 500's (which I NEVER use!) within 300m of a tile boundary.... This is usually the cause of Great White Void issues (running west-to-east)....JBD
