I'll second that ... and given Pennsy's tendency to standardise everything, you could get an H-9 out of the deal as well. The three of them would make a nice set. While you've got me thinking about it, an L-1 would be welcome, too... -Phil

Hey all, I just chose the opinion poll. We do need more PRR locomotives for MSTS. I would like to see a duplex of some kind, like the S1, or T1. Thanks.

There is already a T1 available, by Mike Vanderhoof. I think it's in the file library.

A rebuild of the T-1 Would be wonderful! I enjoy the original model but, respectivly, I find the textures and the details fairly crude. The boiler shape is just about perfect, but the running gear was boxy and the wheels had a strange quirk, the colors appeared to flash bright and dark at high speeds. While the original had some problems, there is a great amount of potential in that model. An overhaul of this locomotive could put it right up on my top ten list for sure! I hope you do decide to rebuild this loco, It would be interesting to see how far your skills have come, as well as fulfilling the original dream you had for this engine!
I wish you the best of luck and happy holidays from Arizona!

An updated T1 would be awful nice to have in the near future; I'd surely enjoy racing along in a balky Loewy monster. Please look into it!

Well that clinches it, I guess I gotta do a re-vision of the T-1, I am glad that all of you liked the rude-krude version. Unfortionally the shape files for the T-1 are lost to the computer-bug of doom. so I'll have to start all over. I'll get a start as soon as I get some free time.

Personally, I'd prefer the Q2 4-4-6-4. It may have two sets of cylinders, but it ain't no artic!

I too would like to see an E6 Atlantic, and, if none exists yet, a K4 Pacific. Also, for those of us with slower computers (yes, I'll have to get a new one someday) 2-meg versions of the engines would be nice if the new engines are, say, 8-meg beasts. And I would like a cab view we don't have to purchase; I think the current T1 requires the Empire State Express cab. I know there are lots of worthwhile add-ons for sale, I just have a limited budget.

Anything that would be a "standard" of "THE STANDARD".
You can thumb through the great Don Ball's book on the Pennsy and turn 5 pages and see engines that we don't have yet.
Their Consolidated was used til the end and was very prolific, and unique, but then,so was their "Mountain"..
Well, you just opened a can 'o ' worms and drew out Pennsy fans!
