The cars are built but besides the bounding box problem and graphical errors I think either the engine is too short or the cars are too tall.Everything seems a lot smaller then the first supertrain I built.
Dont know much about the Supertrain, but looking at the pic the engine and cars seem to be sitting very high, sort of like they are on stilts. If the engine is right size then the cars definitely need to be a bit lower overall. I'd suggest adding a Superliner to the consist to get some idea of how the overall size is looking.Beer is not a matter of life and death. It is much more serious than that. mervyn.
The cars in the series defintly looked taller then superliners. How do I figure out bounding box numbers. someone in another thread told but I lost the info when xp service pack 2 fouled up my machine also making me lose the original supertrain files.
I remember the TV Show. Sadley for me it was like a Love boat on rails. The train shots where mostly at night. I also remember an ad showing up in Trains or MR for the models they used in the show. They wanted like $10,000US for the models. I think they were 1/4 Scale. The purchase also came with track as well. A little on the pricey side for models and in 1987 or so it was even more so.I think your models are pretty accurate except that they were a bit more streamlined. The engine wheels were tucked up under the engine a bit more. After searching the net I couldn't find any photos. Anyway it looks pretty cool.Ronson2k4
>After searching the net I couldn't find any photos. Methinks there is a reason for that. On a more serious note...http://nbc_supertrain.tripod.com/id2.htmlKnock yourself out!
