I finally took some time to revamp my tired old website. Hoping to focus more on MSTS.Anyway, the link is under my "signature". If you could take a look at the modeling and download sections and let me know if you have any issues working with the site.I have placed beta versions of two of the Baldwin Centipedes, PRR 5827 and PRR 5812, in my download area for those who want to try them out. There are also copies of the latest generation of heavy articulated electrics going back to the Milwaukee EF-4 (all of which are also available in the Train-Sim library)This gives me a place to post my never ending status shots and Beta versions and saves Nels some valuable disk space. The finished models will stil be posted at Train-Sim (as well as my own site). It's just the Beta versions that will only be available at kelticsylk.comHope that made sense,Frank MusickMoving America into the 19th Century! www.kelticsylk.com
Awesome Frank, simply awesome......the detail you put into these things is amazing..I'm gonna give them a "Beta" testing on PRR's middle division this evening....thanks for the work!
Good Looking models there Frank,Just a few notes:You "Might" want to have alook under the hood again, as once the brakes are applied, they seem to lock.you might also want to adjust your headlight settings, as the headlight beam is riding too high, and there is also a gyrating headlight beam above the front end centered in space.Other than this, your models are quite good. I am looking forward to seeing them once finished and corrected. Thomas Pearce, Freight Car Builder, Broadway Limited Locomotive Works
Thomas,Did you see my post about the ENG setting?...Take the comma out of the power rating?Does that help the brake issue?I really haven't worked on the lights. They are from the W-1 (I think).I broke something in adding details to the first and third units and now I'm getting UID errors. Once I figure that out the locomotives will be almost ready.Frank MusickMoving America into the 19th Century! www.kelticsylk.com
I took your suggestion about altering the engine files as well, and it solved my braking issue...I also re-aliased my ENG.SMS to use the Shark sound package for the cab and engine sounds and it solved the problem of no horn in the external views...Nicely done locos, Frank. A pic of a street running centepede.....with 104 loaded 70 ton hoppers..........Franko
There's a new beta of 5812 out on my site but you've already done most of the work. What route is that?...Looks pretty cool.Frank MusickMoving America into the 19th Century! www.kelticsylk.com
