I continually get an error "Shape file. xxx.s did not compress properly" when I try to compress a shape file using Route Riter.
Any suggestions

I have tried compressing several shape files that were compressed,
then uncompressed in Route Riter, edited and then I attempted to
recompress them. The uncompress goes fine but not the recompress.

It could be that that particular file is one of the ones that won't compress. Certain highly-detailed models are prone to this, if I understand things correctly.
