Hi,Is there any way to create a combined throttle/brake handle with eight positions in MSTS?The railcar I am tweaking should have four distinct positions for the throttle, i.e. “Drive” 1/3 throttle, 2/3 throttle and full throttle, and three positions for braking, i.e. 1/3 braking, 2/3 braking and full breaking. The existing railcar has the 1/3, 2/3, full throttle positions as required. This is part of the corresponding .eng file: ----
EngineControllers (
Throttle ( 0 1 0.25 0
NumNotches ( 4
Notch ( 0 0 Dummy )
Notch ( 0.33 0 Dummy )
Notch ( 0.66 0 Dummy )
Notch ( 1 0 Dummy )
------The braking code has similar notches:------ Brake_Train ( 0 1 0.0525 0.25
NumNotches ( 3
Notch( 0 0 TrainBrakesControllerReleaseStart )
Notch( 0.2 1 TrainBrakesControllerEPApplyStart )
Notch( 0.95 0 TrainBrakesControllerEmergencyStart )-------But in practice in MSTS when the brakes are applied it still ranges from 0%-99% plus emergency braking, rather than braking in positions (1/3, 2/3, full braking) as required. Is there any way to achieve this?Thank you,Adam.
