Aug-21-01, 06:32 AM (EST) 4. "RE: panels" Ah.... I'm not a flight-simmer (obviously). There are couple of cabviews available in the download section for the F7. I know this is kinda gimpy, but I'm not planning on creating cabs for my locos in the near future. I find I rarely use the game with the cabview on, and use all external views, and the process of creating a locomotives in 3DSMax and converting it to MSTS is headache enough for the moment Learn something new every day...

Aug-21-01, 11:18 PM (EST) 8. "RE: panels" For building panels, (cabs) the cab editer is limited to what it will do, mainly it won't let you remove/add control stands on the front.ace files and the route editer will not read cab.ace files. I am building a DD40x cab, (on hold for the moment) while I find a way to do what I want. Since I am inexperienced in skinning and building objects with the computer, maybe someone could suggest the best avenue to take to build or rebuild cab ace files.Chuck Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
