Playing GOD awhile back in G-scale, a friend and I were going through the remains of a crushed box of rolling stock, when we came up with a brainy idea. CLIP CHOP PASTE AND PAINT and what do you get????? AN awesome little switcher made from the front of a RS-3 and the chassie of a 25 ton switcher. Maybe should try this for train sim
ARisto Craft has manufactured something that looks exactly like that, down to the trucks for a number of years now. edit: That's even the same road number as on the AristoCraft "L'il Critter", and looks completely identical too.Bradley Linda Waco, Texas
Thats where we got the rest of the idea.....We found pics of the little critter in Garden railroad magizines. Problem is, no hobby shop in the Green Bay, WI area would order one for us...so we had to scratch build this one. What I can't show on this one is the other other side of the loco, ALOT of filler puddy and a big crack under the cab window.
How about a two headed Athearn Hustler?I had two shells left over from a regear project, so I chopped them up and put a cab at both ends. I scanned it and put in my TSM Backdrop directory as a possible future project. Now I could only create a rubber band drive in MSTS Frank MusickMoving America into the 19th Century! www.kelticsylk.com
