CP Russa… The Brazilian Little Joe – image 1

HI
To all of you who downloaded cp_russa.zip , uploaded today, june 08,Two major bugs ...First..If you use the enclosed consist, change the loco folder from CPRussa to CP Russa....missing one spacebar between CP and RussaSecond...Cabview is wrongly aliased to the author FEPASA folder wich I believe most of you do not have since FEPASA is another Brazilian Railroad...
Just Download the E-3234.ZIP and put it in the Cabview folder inside the loco folder....If You do this you will run it....See enclosed screenshot.....cabview was downloaded month ago...Regards

RE: CP RUSSA...THE BRAZILIAN LITTLE JOE

Hi Lucio,
I am Brazilian too, living in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.
I downloaded the CP-Russa too and didn't work. Are you working to fix these bugs? For those not familiar with Brazilian Railroads, "CP" stands for " Companhia Paulista de Estradas de Ferro",the best Brazilian Railroad, running from Jundiai-SP to Panorama - SP. It main freight load was coffee from the interior of Sao Paulo State towarding to the Brazilian port of Santos. You could set your watchs with their passangers trains always on time. I have a project to bring into MSTS the GE "Loba", serie 2000, brought by the Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana- EFS in the early 50s. Sorocabana bought 25 of those. I got drawings from the net. Now, I need to learn how to bring that "beauty" to life.Regards.

RE: CP RUSSA...THE BRAZILIAN LITTLE JOE

Guys,
Thanks for letting me know there is a problem with the "Russa". There is definitely an issue with the folder name, and as mentioned, editing out the "space" will fix it.I believe that I did mention in the download that the Russa does require the FEPASA file for it's cab view..."Requires E-3234.ZIP, COMMONSND.ZIP and EFCOMSND.ZIP". The FEPASA cabview is included in E-3234.ZIP. It also requires the Milwaukee Boxcab sounds and a few other things from the other zip files listed. These instructions are repeated in the "readme.txt" file..."Installation instructions:
1. Download CommonSnd.ZIP from the Train-Sim library. Install per read-me file included with that zip. 2. Download E-3234.ZIP from the Train-Sim library. Install per read-me file included with that zip.

3. Download efcomsnd.zip from the Train-Sim library. Install per read-me file included with that zip.4. Unzip the file CPRussa.ZIP into you Train Simulator Trainset directory."I also included my e-mail address and site URL for feedback regarding the model, but I don't recall getting any.Anyway, thanks again for letting me know. Please contact me if you have any more problems.Frank MusickMoving America into the 19th Century!
