Hi All,Here is another addition to my flatcar fleet....the 65ft flatcar now with 4x4 post load....look for it as 65ft_WL.zip in the File Library.I would have made the stacks higher...but the dreaded UID error crops up if you place too many posts on the flatcar.
Rick

RE: 65ft Flatcar with 4x4 Post Load

Tim,Unfortunately, I have not spent much time reading the FreightAnim Tag information to learn how to do the addition of other objects....it is obviously worth my time to learn this and I will look at it in a couple of days....So a short answer to your question is no.RickP.S. - the first attempt at this load with fully loaded cars brought the poly count to somewhere near 12000 and of course the dreaded UID errors...so I paired it down and this one works...I have not actually found the break point of this model yet for a full/partial load as modeled...the FriehgtAnim line would be useful to complete the stacks.

check the bounding box on that flat car and the similar one with the steel load. there are some weird numbers there. could be a possible contributing factor...Tim Baldwin

RE: 65ft Flatcar with 4x4 Post Load

Tim & others,Here is the fix for the 65ft Flatcar...it should work with all the 65ft'ers I made....SD fileESD_Bounding_Box ( -1.615440 0.002377 -9.0 1.615440 1.5 9.0 )Wag FileSize ( 3.25m 1.5m 21.4m)InertiaTensor ( Box (3.25m 1.5m 21.4m)
Just change the lines indicated and it will run fine.....I have not seen any anomolies with it since the change, but I didn't see any before either.Rick

RE: 65ft Flatcar with 4x4 Post Load

I guess we posted at the same time, Rick. I hadn't had any trouble with these flat cars, but I've taken to checking bounding boxes on everything I download, payware too. it can make a big difference in the type of switching activities I enjoy. Thanks for all your hard work...Tim Baldwin
