Before you go playing email tag with your files, try posting some pics of the problems, I think I might have an inkling as to what might be wrong but need to see some pics.Gary S

RE: NW Transfer Caboose

OK NW
On your roof problem, it looks like because it's an odd shape that it's not one of the simple parts, to get rid of the transparent roof simply copy and paste the roof piece, move it down to where the underside of the roof would be(final placement will be eaiser after this next step)switch to poly mode on the new roof piece and flip polys on that piece, you should now have basicaly two roof sections, one top one underside.
As for the second problem(apprently the steps are solid completely across?)If that is an extruded piece made in template mode there's your problem, TSM has a problem dealing with curves of a certain type in template and throws a poly wall between the curves it disagrees with.
If I've correctly surmised the situation you'll need to build the step well sides as seperate pieces.
Hope this helpsGary S

I selected some parts to to make as one but something else got in it that I didn't want to be in it.How to I break the parts back up or can I?I reworked the roof and end as you instructed and that took care of the problem. It was just a tube with the amount of points I needed and stretched into shape, but like you said I guess TSM just didn't like it.Thanks in advance.

TSM has been off my system for a bit now(nothing wrong with it,just installed a new HD and since the ol compy's going in for a major upgrading haven't got around to reinstalling on the new HD)but IIRC you can break apart joined pieces in point mode (just backup before hand and experiment)
As for the closed off end sills, try making the floor one piece and then template/extrude the step well sides(pretty much build the step wells using your extruded sides and just add the steps)that should get you around that unwanted poly joining the two step wells.Gary S
