First, send them all to me, and I'll see what's wrong with them, maybe play with them a while, etc... No, first tell us what program you're using. Then someone can help you go further.

Have fun. This is one program where you'll need to make the rest of the files. First, open a new scene and change units to meters if it isn't already (Program preferences). Then, open your file. Don't save the current scene. If it says something about the units not matching, click "rescale the file objects to the system unit scale" and hit OK.Now make sure all of your parts are linked to a main part. To do this, use the link tool, select each part except for the main part which you should name Main, press H, and click on the part named main. Then hit link. Do this for each part.Select Main, click the Hierarchy tab, click Affect Pivot Only, and then Align to World. Deselect Main.Your model should probably already have textures. If not, let me know, I'll help you, and DO NOT GO ON!Go to Train Simulator/LOD Manager and Shape Export. Behind the window that pops up, select ALL of your parts. Then, on the window, click the + button. Type 1500 in the LOD distance window, then File/Export to .s and save it as whatever you want. You now have a .s file.Make .sd and .eng files, add any sound files you need and any .ace files, and you have a locomotive. Again, ask for help if you don't understand any of these files.
