Hi All,
I am in the process of setting up the eng file for my latest loco, been fiddling with the exhaust effects for it, can`t get it to behave the way I would like.
Time to ask for some suggestions, there are two things I would like to ' fine tune ' which are,
1 - To synchronize the two exhaust outlets, at the moment the exhaust smoke is alternating between to two except when the throttle is over 60%, doesn`t look good a puff of smoke coming out of one stack then a puff coming out of the second stack after the first.2 - To stop the exhaust smoke advancing forward of the stacks when the loco is at speed, it looks as if the drawing of the exhaust smoke is not in sync with that of the loco and is drawn just that little bit faster than the loco is during accelleration. Can anyone help with the above, I have tried various settings within the eng file with no luck, is there any other parameters within MSTS other than those in the eng file that can be tweaked to give a better effect in the exhaust department.Any help would be appreciatedRegards

RE: A Smoking Problem

Hi Stew
Sorry I can't help on this one. I would have thought someone out there would have some experience with twin exhausts. There are a good number of non-turbo GMs in the file library so someone must have dealt with the issue. Or did everyone just cut and paste from the default GP38? Anyone? Please? All the best,
You know who from you know where.
