One thing that I found to be a negative with the new SD50/60 models is that there is no bright lights when the head light switch is set to bright and you can not use Dan Crano's cabviews.I remember a topic being discussed in regards to the cabview situation. The cabview I can live with but will there be a fix for the head lights? Again you only get head lights and ditch lights for that matter only in the dim setting.Other than that the models are great. The head light problems are present on the SD60m as well.Has this problem been addressed yet? I didn't see anything posted.Thanks.
Re SD60 Headlights. They are set so that on the dim setting the front lights are bright and the forward light beam is there. The rear headlights are on dim On the bright setting the front headlights are on dim and the rear headlights are bright with a rear beam (front facing I am afraid as MSTS has one or two problems) The ditch lights come on with the bright light front or rear. The kits are for you to work on, setting your own lighting and colouring them as you will. ( Preferably not in Lord of the Rings colours as I am sure Elrond and Ganalf would consider diesels the work of Mordor. Steam locomotives now. The may be classed differently!!! LOL ;-} ) There are some instructions with the kits.Dick C.
