The D&RGW Narrow Gauge Rotary Plow OY that I posted about awhile back will be out in the FL in Early June. Jonathan and I haven't been able to work on it much because of our time zone differences. Im in the middle of the U.S. He is in the UK. So I never talk to him during the week. And he has lots of other projects that are more important to him. I think hes making a K-28 now. Anyway, once school is out on the 19th for Christmas break, then we will get back to work. I was thinking he was going to be on MSN Messenger today so we could work on it, be he isn't. Damn, and I have today off work too.Just a little update.BTW, Jonatan, I can get sounds of the OY for you when you and I figure out how to email each other. And I know a Chama resident that can easily walk down to the yard and take pics inside OY. He has a nice digital camera so...

Aww, to bad you can't work on it. But it sounds good that you can get sounds, and I hope you can fix the problem with the emails soon./JonatanSteam rules!

RE: Rotary OY

Merlins Rotary is an inspiration now! Anyone want to texture mine for me? Jonathan is too busy with his routes and hasn't done much with it. He is going to do the .eng file sometime though, I don't know when. I don't know what we can use for photo textures, but im sure we'll find something.Thank you,
Kevin Bush,

All of the stuff ive posted on here lately, the rotary, the 9000, they are all "no-go's". No one wants to help! From what I hear, you guys make engines together all the time. Dont any of you guys use TSM, or is that program really so crappy that its out of date and you want to use the better stuff. Or maybe I just dont know how to use it, and I think I dont.Ohh well, you wouldn't have been able to clear snow anyway, its impossible in this stupid game. I'll do it with the real OY someday anyway. Im hiring out with the Cumbres in two years...Kevin Bush,

RE: Rotary OY

No no no, not at all, it just sort of upsets me these guys that say they are going to do this crap and I never hear word one. But like I have said, I really dont care anymore, I most certainly do NOT need this program...its just something for me to do to pass the time that is steam locomotive related...

Kevin,I most certainly was going to help if you talked to Jon Lewis, I was going to lend a hand in doing the textures for the model. However I have other projects that I NEED to get done first. There are only a few of us that devote our model building time to narrow gauge specificly and in all actuality I doubt most of the guys making modern diesels or big SG steam are going to give a toot and a snore to a single piece of NG equipment.
Don't be afraid to work on it yourself and learn the program, thats the best thing to do. People who build models didn't have to get help from other people to do their projects, and just because there is no huge flood of people wanting to help you doesn't mean no one cares because we do. Not everyone has the technical know how to help out. Those of us that do may not use TSM or may be backed up as it is. I know I am certainly working my ass off to get some NG models out to you guys.
You have to ask yourself though, would you rather have a nice model of a D&RGW boxcar or stock car which would be suitable for a whole train, or do you want me to work on a single piece of MOW equipment that only got called out maybe twice a year?
I build models based on priority of what is needed and sometimes requests or personal projects. The important thing to remember is that it WILL get done in time but there things ahead of it for some of us.
Don't give up, just get to work!-=Andrew=-Northern California Narrow Gauge Model Builders
