Removing Engine Passenger Views – image 1

I've got several engines that've had a passenger view installed into them, along with a virtual cab of sorts. I'm looking to get rid of them and have an idea in mind, but would rather run past the community for advice in disposing of the things so that I can enjoy the view from a caboose with a quick press of '5'.Thanks!

RE: Removing Engine Passenger Views

Just highlight and delete, I remove all of them. I find it screws the sound up at times.Kevin Arceneaux

Removing Engine Passenger Views – image 3

OK. Here's what I'm aiming to get rid of, roughly transcribed:)
Inside (
PassengerCabinFile ( TKW_PC_U25B_2513.s )
PassengerCabinHeadPos (blah blah)
RotationLimit
StartDirection
Sound ( "...."))Does that last ) go, or not? Thanks. I'd normally hack right in, but after I spent several hours perfecting the old PC fleet, I didn't want to mess anything up.

RE: Removing Engine Passenger Views

Hi,Remove from the word Inside with the last bracket included.
Brackets always go in pairs. So you need to remove this:

Inside (
PassengerCabinFile ( TKW_PC_U25B_2513.s )
PassengerCabinHeadPos (blah blah)
RotationLimit(blah)
StartDirection(blah)
Sound ( "....")
)

Yes, but the first one doesn't: delete only what's in red.

Also it is annoying if you run a passenger train, then you can't see the passenger view, but only the virtual cabview...Cheers!SebastianFeel free to IM me on: sstyrnol@hotmail.com

RE: Removing Engine Passenger Views

INteresting. I did not know that the inside view messes up the sound. I just attributed it to a general MSTS bug (not like there are many of those....)I like the inside locomotive view, after all, I'm running the locomotive, not riding in the caboose or cars. I'll keep this in mind for my future repaints!GH
