RE: Help required for small project.

Looks good.But...It should read Model Engine Cyls HP
-----------------------------------------------
SD90/43MAC 4300
SD90MAC-H 6000Im not sure on the type of engines..so I wont say anything about that.
alsoSD70ACe 16-710G3C-T2 4300 THPThis is from TRAINS magazine...but im not sure about the number of cylinders for it wither
Looks really interesting...great reference sheet!Maybe, when its more complete, you could find pictures of all the units, then put it in the File Library as a PDF file?

RE: Help required for small project.

Hi Marko,I have two hard cover books, both by a guy named Brian Solomon. One is titled "Modern Locomotives - High Horsepower Diesels" and the other is "GE Locomotives - 100 Years of Power". In these books he goes into a lot of detail about the prime movers and horsepower ratings of the various locomotives from the early GP's and U boats on.I've downloaded your list and will see if I can add to it - but please give me a few days. Right now I'm up to my a$$ in alligators at work and with projects I have to finish around the house. I'm pretty sure I can fill in a lot of your blanks, though. If you want to talk to me about this off-forum, contact me at whiterabbit28@comcast.net or my work E-mail: larry.steiner@siemens.com.Take care -Larry Steiner
