Aug-14-01, 06:51 PM (EST) 8. "RE: F7A Update at 3DTrains..." Its called a Suntan from spending hours in the sun harvesing grain by hand for my people! Our village is not developed enough to use trains and tractors, we have to do it all by hand! I hope by September that we can afford to make some sunblock so our noses dont turn brown! Aug-14-01, 09:34 PM (EST) 10. "RE: F7A Update at 3DTrains..." A note about this update from 3DT. its a well needed
update that will assist in pixel alignment for those of
us who reskin these engines. However...it causes some
very minor issues with the existing engines that have
been produced already.Namely..it produces a one pixel misalignment on the
left side on any striping that must match the nose
art of the unit. Previously these may have been
aligned perfectly, but now, are slightly off. Its
a small enough issue that on a lot of engines, it
wont even be noticeable...but I notice everything. In accordance with this, Aluminum Cloud will have
a patch to download that updates the s and eng files
to 1.35 standard...but the artwork will be slightly
(oh so very slightly...) off as a result. In due course, when the B units are released, I will
also release a complete upgrade to the A units I host
that will correct these minor flaws, as well as upgrade
the quality on some of the engines. (one learns a thing
or two after having done 10 or 12 of these..)The combined packages will contain at that time, the
complete A units, and the ace files for the new b units.
To get the base b unit, will require registration at
3D Trains. The artwork at Aluminum cloud is and will
remain...free. Just buy the engines once at 3DT, and
you get my stuff free.My purpose in telling you this, is that ONLY for the
Aluminum cloud stuff, you may wish to download the
entire fixed package when the B units come out. Or,
please feel free to get the partial package in the
next 24 hours. However, I wont be offerring a "just
art" pack. It will be this quick fix now for those
who have to have it, or the complete thing later. No
time for that...I travel a lot...sorry guys.Eric(BTW, I dont make a thing on this. My work is free.
However I respect those who choose to charge for the original
works..Im just a painter.)Eric Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
