Well, guys, I tried my hand at reskinning a Baldwin 4-8-4 Northern for the CB&Q (what else? LOL). I noticed a lack of Q steamers, so I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring....If there is any interest in this, I'll try to finish it up and upload it into the library.

OWW you just made my jaw hit the keyboard. I love all cb&q stuff. I like BN better, but CB&Q gets the credit for pretty much starting BN. We had CB&Q around here as the first steam engines and always wanted one to run on my routes. this is a must for the f/l!
what route is that? It looks cool. Is it freeware and in the f/l??

come ride the train come choo choo ride

RE: CB&Q Steamer

I'm in the process of finalizing it...should be in the f/l sometime this week. The route it shows is one I'm also trying my hand at; the old Q line between Pacific Jct, Iowa and Napier, Mo. Just not as adept at scenery as some of the Great Ones here. When finished, (is it Ever?-LOL) I may release a Beta version of it that others can embellish on.... Glad to see you like the Q; it's the railroad I began my career on.BTW: Erik: Got your cabooses, and yes, they look EXCEPTIONAL with this steamer. Thanks go out to you and the rest to those jewels! Just wouldn't be the Q without those babies!
