Milwaukee Road juice fans, it will be sometime possible to have EF-1's, and now EF-2's, EF-3's and EF-5's, plus the "Harlowton Switcher", with the arrival of the first test-unit of the Milwaukee's home-made "Bobtail" booster unit. Made from EF-1's with several feet of the cab and the and front guiding trucks removed. This is about four hours work using a copy of the E57 to re-build from.....Timtimmuir@wcn.net timmuir2002@yahoo.com
Electric Railroad 3D Models Willamette Valley Route (No timetable for release)
Well, thats a whole lot of work I can forget about now. Thanks Tim, they are all looking just fine. All they need is a bit of track through the mountains to run on.mervyn@madasafish.com
Well, they need a bit more work, like for instance, the E33-D,(3rd unit back, and still in E33-C #), likes to dissappear from view when the camera is focused on the last unit (E33-B). Strange, because it's a mirror copy of E33-C, which does not display this characteristic. Pivot point is directly center, and there are no rogue points floating around it. I have the "North Coast Railroad" route; I strung wire at 7.6m (24 ft.)and threw together some Milwaukee Road poles for screenshots, and to test-run the units, until the Montana Divisions are at least beta. So, they do get to run through some mtns. It's almost there....The E33 is a model of an EF-5 I saw in Green Frog Video's "Pacific Northwest Kaleidoscope", with the second Bobtail sporting a pantograph, in the up position along with the first unit, at work in Washington State around Renton. I thought it would have to be made, it was so cool looking!Timtimmuir@wcn.net timmuir2002@yahoo.com
