Ok, this whole invisi car thing got me thinking. While bopping around on the yard on my tractor mowing, I thought about something. Why can't we use invisible cars to simulate hump yards?Think about it, hide things behind buildings and scenery cars, and then use single cars with the invisible locomotives to follow various paths into a yard. Then, you could hide the vanishing cars behind other trains. This would only work if your train didn't hang around long, but passed the yard.Another possibility, would be to exploit the fact that cars vanish one by one when they reach the end of path point on a line. That way (as long as you had it in a restricted speed zone) you could have a train of cars push up to the hump (each car vanishing shortly before the hump *behind something so you don't /see/ it happen*) and then spawn corresponding cars and invisible locomotives to head into the yard. Plus, if you exploited the fact that if an AI train couples to a static consist the ai train becomes static, you could concievably have the cars not vanish but actually couple. Plus, once the locomotive vanished, you could spawn a switcher backing down from the hump to get more cars. It's all a thought, someone run with it.
