Phase IV NW2 – image 1

I dunno if this is a texturing question or modeling question, But theres a NW2 kit in the lib, and it has shapes for phase 1 and 2,
But the RR I want to paint had phase IV NW2's what needs to be done to make a phase2, into a phase4?

RE: Phase IV NW2

IIRC, ph 4's have a level long hood going completely back to the cab where all the earlier had the sloped section. If this is true (I'm pretty sure it is) that would be an obvious physical difference. Also, the hood door louvers patterns vary from phase to phase, but are present on 4's and not on 1's. The 2's were the full door height louvers, 3's and 4's had a space left for road name between two sets of louvers if my memory serves correctly. There were overlaps for all of these things in production of course, and repair/rebuild could alter them as well.Lyle

RE: Phase IV NW2

Looks like your gettin around to those NTOW NW2's you asked me about 2 weeks or so ago. I used the Phase 2 for all 3 of my repaints. You have options of Hood or Frame handrails, Modern, Older, or No Sunshades on both Phases 1 and 2. Its a pretty sharp repainters kit as far as I'm concerned. 1 of the best I've come across. Will look for the gray beasts in the library soon. JimIf you need any help, hollar. I'm kinda idle at the moment!!
