There is no reason not to download it.
I would too, and loving it.
Reminds me on an HO eng I have, kitbashed it with one Alco truck and one GM one. Looked good too.

have all of your locos , and quality they are indeed.Q: could anyone reccomend the best sounds to alias this one to?
dont have many downloaded sounds, any sugestions?

Those KATYS as we CNW folk know them as were good luggers...they had a great reputation for lugging ability. Far exceeded the EMD's. that replaced them!!But the crews HATED the control stands!!! LOL... I had only 1 example of cab layout to go by so I'm really guessing... but if you look in the windows of the Reading AS-16, I can only imagine ir would be an annoying configuration to operate.I was hoping you would like this one... hopefully I can finish it up soon, since I told myself I would *NOT* create another engine after the AS-16 and look what I'm doing... FYI: I really don't like creating engines, honest.

ACK! A virus ate my system... My own fault... I was "playing" with an trojan infector on purpose... I just thought I had the right protection... but it did things I wasn't expecting... Anyway... No progress for a bit while I rebuild... (PS: I'm a Internet Security Consultant "my real job" so I'm no stranger to stuff like trojans and virii... I just got stupid. PHHHT! No biggie... I always have good backups.)

Ok, so with some additional team effort it will be a completed project.To do: Physics - Bob, Sound Aliasing - Me, some handrail stanchions - Me, and maybe some lighting tweaks from Kelley...

one mod you could make is to throw an RS3 nose on that puppy, then we could have Katy RS-3M's. Ugly things, if you ask me, but I want a few.

It is not considered to be 100% finished, but after having it on my system for about a month without updates, I figured if it was done enough to use it and not feel need to mess with it that it might be "done" enough for others to enjoy. Soooo...I'm packaging it up for an upload...

Hi Pete, I don't know if John told you...he may not have known, but after arriving home from Galesburg, it was a zoo before the fourth. I intended on doing things over the weekend, but mother nature had other intentions. We had teh WORST storm in many years here..lots of infrastructure dammaged, and tree/home damage..but NO injuries or death!I had NO electricity, phone (1 day), cable/modem for 4 days!! I couldn't work on her then...in fact, i even went so far as to go to a motel with my family to get some relief from the heat!I do apologize for the wait on the projects I have going!~!I WILL get her lit!!
