I see there is a new SD40 undecorated non dynamic brake model in the library. My question is has anyone revised a model of it so as to get rid of the sunken in headlight on the nose? This would make a great model for some SOO line engines. If some one has a model of the SD 40 that has been revised or could revise it for me I would Paint and upload some SOO LINE engines. Thanks Roger
Well I sent the alpha channel to the editor and I Managed to move a light up by the number boards and I got rid of the light on the nose, only problem is I now have a hole where in the nose where the light was.I take it that you have to get at the (s file) to fix this problem.Hope someone can help remedy this situation!! Thanks Roger
Roger,If you will look immediately under the front cab windows on the alpha channel for SD402.ace, you will see a vertical rectangle. If you delete that black rectangle, it will fill in the nose recess.-Verne
There are actually two places on the alpha channel that have to be "whited out" before the noselight can be completely removed. Verne mentioned one, but left out the other. The one he mentioned is at the bottom of the pic below while the one he left out is in the middle.
