Look what just rolled out of the shops! (pics!) – image 1

Today D&RGW C-28 367 just rolled out of the shops. 367 is equipped with a custom spark arrestor by Jon Davis, and reapinted by me!
Also, D&RGW 369 was given a snowplow also built by Jon Davis!
TAKE A LOOK!!! These NG beauties will be rollin' into a File Library near you in a couple days! And a possibility of D&RGW 368...the Bee!! I have a question as well, can I upload these models with Fozzy's K-36 sound? Look what just rolled out of the shops! (pics!) – image 2

What happened to the new locos? I've been waiting for them, and they never came. Are they not going to be released? Will the Bee come out?Joel Lefever

I did the sound for Fozzy's engine, probably best not to use it, but I have a custom sound set that would work just ok. What's the driver diameter on this? The engine looks great and deserves nice sound! The only catch is, the sound file is pretty big, which would add considerably to the file size. Another possibly easiier and better way to go, is to require Fozzy's engine, then alias the sounds to it. I don't think there would be any problem with that.

Without Julian's permission, you shouldn't upload it with the K-36 sound. On the other hand, as long as people have the K-36 already, you could alias the sound to it, and the cabview as well. This would save lots on the file size, as the sound file is somewhere around 3Mb-4Mb by itself.Look into this, then if you don't think it would work out, let me know the driver size on your engine, and I'll see more specifically, what I've got. Probably one of the sound files I used on the Jon Davis Sumpter engines would work, maybe with a different whistle.

Font like loco numbers?!? Where is it??? I really want some for my Strasburg RR. equipment, and maybe some for my personal models. And how do you get the cool logos with the Rio Grande with the cool flag things sticking off the R, G, and E, or the Cumbres & Toltec ones on the C and T? I know, I'm getting a bit excited.Joel Lefever

So where can I get loco numbers? Can you send me a .bmp file with them or something? I really want my models to have a better number than Times New Roman. Also, I'm looking to weather my models. (My best picture program is Paint.) What free drawing/picture modification/etc tools can I get that will make better textures than Paint does? And where can I get them?Joel Lefever

You can get RR fonts at www.railfonts.com but you have to pay. I was looking for a better font to do my numbers on the cab and tender. Found it, the locos should be available in the next couple days.Look what just rolled out of the shops! (pics!) – image 17

I have the 367, and I love it. Did you give up on the Bee, couldn't you get permission, did the file library not like it...? Or did you just not want to upload it? I hope it comes out. I always liked the Bee paint scheme. I'm not trying to complain... Sorry!Joel Lefever

RE: Look what just rolled out of the shops!!!!!!! (pics

That's fine. I saw on your website that you didn't really like the shade of yellow. I have a suggestion for the 367. There are smoke screens for it and a snow plow. You said you can't put both on at once. Why not make a .s file addition which includes both of them, so if someone wants both of them, they just put on it and it has both the screen and the plow. You might need Jon Davis to do that for you. Thanks
