I have just been looking in my Illustrated Encyclopedia of locomotives and comparing the different TE figures of Berks Mikes and Consols. The D&H Consol built by Alco in 1924 had a higher TE than the USRA Heavy Mike built in 1919 and only just lower than the Berk built by Lima for the Boston & Albany in 1924.The Maxpower figure depends on which original engine the model is based on. It is also dependent on the adheasive weight of the engine as opposed to the total weight. The original model is of the USRA Consolidation so the figure is probably a bit too high especially based on an adhesive weight of 98.something tons.mervyn@madasafish.com
