RE: CP hudson 2816

Well not quite. There are several surviving Royal Hudsons, and the one in BC which ran on the BCR is owned by the BC government and not CP. That Loco is now in Squamish at the WCRA rail park and is currently not in running condition. 2816 was part of the Steamtown collection and CP reaquired the locomotive and rebuilt it.

RE: CP hudson 2816

John..
Email me.. I'm thinking I could probably finish up the new CP Heavyweights and business cars I'm working on to release with 2816. That would make a nice set. Once 2816 is out, I may never look at another loco <G>.. Do you need any more detail pics?Cheers

RE: CP hudson 2816

I would really like to see this loco released as it was in days gone by, as well as how it looks now.Minus the ditch lights....add a flat number lightbox to the face of the loco. Maybe even bring out another version of the 2816 with the 'elephant ears' smoke deflectors CPR experimented with for a number of years.Just an after-thought to my last post...Here's a link to show the people who don't know how the loco looked in the past already:http://www.cprheritage.com/mainline/empdisplay.htmJeremy HopkinCP hudson 2816 – image 16
