Hello, this is the progress report for my Alco Century 425 class.As you can see, the model is coming together nicely. Windows are white because I've not done the .ace file yet. (haven't textured the cab interior yet.) You may note that the front handrails aren't there. (or textured) dunno what caused this problem, but I suspect I forgot to link or save at some point.One problem I have, is at a long distance the locomotive texture vanishes, giving a slight whitish glow to the engine. What's causing this, and how do I fix it?
if you look closely, you can see some of the handrails are white in that pic, with a white outline around parts of the cab. That's how it starts. Pan all the way back and it turns almost totally white. Gimme some time, I'll get a pic up.EDIT Look closely on the second engine. The parts are starting to white out on it.
