Heisler bug(s)

I installed the Heisler today and of course i ran it right away. immediatley i noticed the locomotive sound on external view is louder than cab view (dunno if this is a bug or not, ive never seen or heard a heisler in action before). After starting her up and getting her to top speed, i foud the wheel animations on the drive wheels is a bit messed up, the wheels will turn about 3/4 the way around, then freeze, repeat. just in case youdidnt know, i thought i should report these.Heisler bug(s) – image 1

i can tell you from what I remember from a ride I once had. The heisler (an old two truck) sounded at first like a regular train. The puffs got faster but shorter and a bit higher pitched than a usual engine. The reason is simple, the drive shaft is turned at a higher rate than the regular train wheels might be.

No problem with the animation on my system.
Runs smothely without freezes.
Even checked the recent repaint (Pacific Lumber Company).
Could it be a version issue of MSTS? Have you updated to v1.1?
I know there are other animation issues addressed in that update.

Which Heisler model did you use? I drove the Andrews Logging 3-truck and the G&D 2-truck and found no problems.

yeah, the Andrews one. And no, the volume level of the sound was actually louder, not longer or shorter.Heisler bug(s) – image 4

That's version 1.2 but it only contains those new engines and wagons, not the program updates from version 1.1.
You have to download the v1.1 upgrade also and install that separately. I don't understand how they can claim some new rolling stock being a new version? With that logic I'm way ahead of them as far as MSTS versions goes!
