I agree, Marc, as some of the rest of us are fumbling around GMAX as well and this way it would be searchable in the forums! Hey Marc, quick question for you: do you know if 3DS Max can open .gmax files? I know it is easy enough to go from 3DS Max to GMAX, but I was wondering about the other direction? Thanks, dude!EDIT: Sorry, Marc, I didn't realize you had already answered this! I just found where you posted the answer on the 3DTrains boards! Thanks for the support!

And FWIW, this is a public forum where people learn from the questions others ask.I will not tutor one-on-one because it's an inefficient use of energy. Please do not ask for answers to your questions as e-mail.Either you're in the forum or not.Regards,Mike Apsey

I did fail to mention this, but instead of plugging up the forums with useless information, that has already been posted numerous times; I felt that it would benefit all modelers if I was only to post how to fix the problem if it should arise in your models. This is kwk100 and I'm 10-10 on the side.KWK100's GE Locomotive Rebuilding Updates (Dec. 03/2002):GE 44 Tonner V2.00 nearing completion, working on attaching all the parts and animation. RE: Gmax Help

1) Make the exterior glass and interior as separate objects linked to the main2) Add the loco/car to the LOD manager3) Collapse the nodes for the glass and interior objects4) Set the glass to sort order 5, and the interior to sort order 105) Export to MSTS and all should work fineCheers!
