I was digging around in my room for a dictionary and I saw a picture I drew a couple years ago. It showed the 4-6-0 pushing the Delorean up to 88 MPH (Back to the Future III) and I remembered that a long time back, someone had designed a model of a powerless version of the car for MSTS. I guess something happened and it was lost in time. It would be great if the person who designed it could finish it and then upload it.

RE: Delorean

Gee, i hope that "Something happened and it was lost in time" was not an intended pun...lolANyway, i think it was actually uploaded, either that or i pulled some strings with the creator, cause i got a few pics of a string of them behind one of my custom unreleased locomotives (for legal reasons)

Actually I didn't even think of that. When I said "lost in time", I meant that it hasn't been seen or heard of in a long time. That was kinda funny though that I said lost in time and it's a time machine

RE: Delorean

ANyone wanna take a stab at the time machine steam engine at the end of BTTF3? You know, the one Doc and his fmaily step out of? Kinda funky looking.Something else, what railroad were those two Alco S-? units that smashed the delorean near the end of that one too?

RE: Delorean

Actually the two words are, Real Life.As with all my projects, a series of recent events in my life have put alot of my projects on temporary hold. This includes ones that were meant to be released 6 months ago or more. For me, MSTS is a hobby and there are more important things in my life at the moment. Hopefully this is a temporary holdback and I will get all my projects including the delorean released to the trainsim community.
The Delorean will be released as freeware from Dream-in-vision, as will the R711. But as I said real life is slowing the process of release. Any critisism should not be directed to Dream-in-vision as it is most likley my fault.
Sorry guys.kind regards
Joseph

John Delorean had had his problems with the white powdery rebates several years before BTTF came out.
In all actuality it was probably more to do with the Delorean's sleek futuristic look and the irony that in 1985 it was for all intents and purposes the 80's variant of the Edsel.
Though on a slightly related topic I once saw concept drawings done in the late 80's early 90's of the Delorian II looked like the first Delorian but was painted and had a big tail spoiler/wing like the old Mopar Superbird, real shame that never came to be.

RE: Delorean

I think the RS diesels were in Central Pacific colors because the ten-wheeler had Central Pacific in big letters across it's tender.
