... and don't worry too much. My GP40-2W will still be coming (if anybody cares -- sometime in the New Year, I hope) and it will be coming in at least three versions ... Canadian National, GO Transit, and Kansas City Southern. I had originally hoped to have them released before Christmas, however I fell ill earlier in the fall and that severely hindered my progress in my MSTS 3D modelling arena.Ray

>gave me all of 'em!! Lets see here.Rogue Spear: ( got the entire 6 game box set last year for XMAS..love it ) < runs off to install thatOperation Flashpoint: ( Probably my favorite game AFTER Ghost Recon )SOAF : Interested in it. I still have NOT seen it in a store ANYWHEREI did 8.5 hours of 'serving' Ghost Recon from Friday night at 7:30 PM 'till about 3:30AM. We had 16 guys playing all the time and it was solid. No lag from anyone. The furthest away was Detroit and he sai no lag as well. Running it off my PC seems to be working quite well for me.Operation Flashpoint: The AI scripting in this game is absolutley amazing. This is how Ghost Recon could be made MUCH better. All those guys at Red Storm Entertainment need to sit back and make the AI in Ghost Recon much smarter than they are. Although this game is "old" by game standards now I still have not purchased the 2 add ons as of yet ( Red Hammer / Resistance ).I comes in a Gold Edition with all three included now. I am going to presume that this is what you got for Xmas. Oh well looks like I'll be able to use my Future Shop Gift Certificates on somthing !!Later RayTim Kent

RE: Huron Cnetral GP40-2W

Hey Tim ...Regarding Operation Flashpoint ... I got the Gold Edition, which only comes with the original game and the Red Hammer addon. Didn't see the other package (Platinum edition, I believe) that also includes Resistance until it was too late. Oh well ... I've put the Resistance addon on my wishlist for my birthday (February ).As for Rouge Spear ... very nice game. The reason I only got that Rainbow Six pack was because of the price ($15 CDN). I really wanted it to see what it is like in anticipation of the new, upcoming Rainbow Six 3 game (I am also playing the MP demo for that).SOAF is another story. Not the most spectacular game in the world (Ghost game engine, so that's good). However, I downloaded the demo for SOAF and found myself playing it quite a bit. Went to Wal-mart to check it out ... $40 CDN. Ain't that good! However, on one of our (my wife and I) Christmas shopping expeditions I saw it at EB for $15 CDN. Now it's definately worth that!! I can't remember for sure, but I think Future is only 15 or 20 bucks also. Now, back to the original topic of this thread ... I have finally got all my new hardware installed in my system (fans comin out the wazoo now, new 80 gig HDD on top of my two 40's that were already there, etc, etc, etc ... ). However, in the process of installing the new hardware I decided to reinstall all software. I re-partitioned all my drives, reformatted and started from scratch. MSTS isn't fully reinstalled yet, but TSM went on yesterday so I can get back to working on my models now. I'll keep ya all updated as I can.LaterRay

RE: Huron Cnetral GP40-2W

Exactly what are you saying? That your reskins of his so-so model will be the only ones realeased, that no one else can skin them? If so, who cares? One day Kurt will have to leave his house for more than going somewhere with Mom and Dad and he will get ground up in real life.Kevin Arceneaux

Actually Kurt has been very helkpful with the process, catering to my "demands" as they may be. And it is a VERY well done model, i've played around with it for a good while and leanred its limits (very few there of).If you don't like it, don;t download it, duhur!
Progress shot to come as soon as i get the upload on my site to work....Update:Check out the screenie (remove the minus sign before the tp://):

I'm not familiar with the participants and the history in this thread. Is Kurt a 13 year old in reality? If so, he might benefit more from a bit of advice rather than slings and arrows.Just a thought,
Tim
